We're a couple with big hearts, and we are so excited to become parents, sharing our love, energy and joy with a little one. Our family is a blend of Vietnam and the U.S., and we celebrate that through food, holidays, and traditions. We believe in steady guidance, always balancing play, curiosity, and laughter. Surrounded by supportive friends and family, we hope to create a home where your child feels safe, celebrated, and deeply loved.

Qualities We Love in Each Other

With our Dogs Boba and Arya

We came from opposite side of the world, yet we clicked the moment we met. Let's first say this: we're both pretty silly and love teasing each other.  It's our primary love language.

Damiem would say Giang is incredibly hard working, and can easily focus on the task at hand. However, Giang makes a clear separation of work and play, and values making the most of her time off. In marriage, she's truly a devoted and committed partner who loves with her whole heart. She's generous to others, but never makes them feel like they owe her. She is also hilarious.

Giang might say Damiem loves deeply and shows it by making her laugh with as little as a funny look. He's kind to others, and shows his appreciation by cooking a healthy dinner for two, or a feast for the holidays with friends and family. He's a creative thinker full of ideas and worldly knowledge (sometimes too much knowledge).

Together, we're great travel buddies and see eye-to-eye on nearly all aspects of life. We don't hold grudges or put other people down, and we strive to be honest and truthful as individuals and as a couple.

Our Leisure Time

Silly Group Photo for Giang's Surprise Birthday Party

We may project an image of being very sensible and bottom-line driven, but truly we're very relaxed people who love spending a lazy afternoon on the couch. What's the point of being responsible if you're not allowed to goof off sometimes (or often times)?

We cook most weeknights, but we enjoy changing our minds and dropping into our favorite taco joints and ice cream shops.

We're pretty good about lifting weights and going to yoga as much as possible, but lengthy Mario Kart battles count as mental exercise, right? Damiem is convinced that video games teach a kid important concepts. Giang is hard to persuade on this matter.

Once we latch on to a great TV show, you can bet we're going to binge watch it. Plus, our dog Arya must get her 20 hours of beauty sleep. Damiem loves to explain the intricate histories of his favorite music and TV shows, while Giang is content to let him get his words out of his system.

Our Cultural Heritage

Eating a Traditional Vietnamese Meal

Our family is built on a blend of cultures, both inherited from our home countries, and experienced through our travels.

We love learning about each other's home culture and how it reflects on humanity more broadly. In Vietnam, there's traditionally great emphasis on honoring elders, sharing meals, and building community. In the United States, one could say there's more emphasis on individuality, thinking outside the box, and sustaining a truly diverse society. But these distinctions are really quite blurry these days, and no longer contradictory. We feel we're living proof that being curious and celebrating cultural differences makes us stronger.

We're eager and open to welcoming a child of any race or background, and we will embrace their story with the same love we hold for our own. We would cherish the opportunity to give a child strong roots and a truthful understanding of their heritage. Through travel, discovery, and honoring those who came before, we would strive to provide a special understanding of what makes their story unique.

Our Extended Families

Damiem's Sister Dandi Visits

We have family spread out across Texas, Central Florida, and Vietnam. Bringing your child into our lives means we can share our love of culture, and family bonds.

Giang's sister is a data analyst, married, and has a sassy dog named Boba. We play pickleball with them twice a week and meet up for our dogs to play with their best buds. Karaoke is a big deal in Asian cultures, and we love singing our hearts out together at home. Damiem's sister is also married and has two wonderful teenagers. We meet up at least twice a year, keeping up our family tradition of visiting theme parks and sightseeing.

The Hoang Family

Giang's "Ba Me", meaning father and mother, live in Saigon, Vietnam. They often host extended family for long stays, which makes every visit something new. Ba once taught Damiem how to ride a scooter in the crowded streets, and now it's Damiem's favorite thing to do while there.

We love hosting friends and family for the holidays and get-togethers throughout the year. Damiem fancies himself a chef, and makes Thanksgiving dinners with homemade pies, ice cream, stuffing and of course turkey. Giang keeps everyone on schedule, which is vital during July and August which is birthday season among our friend group and their kids. She's always on top of flights, accommodations, dinner outings and every detail in between.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Home

We live in a well-establish suburb in Texas with big trees providing shade and kids riding their bicycles. A lovely new playground is a 5 minute walk around the corner, tucked away so that neighborhood kids can run wild safely. Walking distance from our home is a big recreational area with a baseball field, basketball court, swimming pools and tennis courts. Our favorite spot is the neighborhood's shopping plaza which features a big kids park right in the middle so parents can eat at restaurants while kids swing and play soccer.

Our house itself is full of character. Built in 1969, it has all the charm of an older home while being updated with modern amenities that make daily life comfortable and easy. There is plenty of space inside, including a room we envision turning into a playroom, along with cozy areas perfect for family time. Giang has had great success growing a small garden of tomatoes and herbs, while Damiem is very invested in composting and worm farms, which produce natural fertilizer to enrich the soil. Together, these little joys bring life and warmth to our home—a place full of love & laughter.

From Us to You

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We want to begin by saying how deeply we respect the courage and love it takes to consider adoption. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision must be, but we see your strength, and we honor the selflessness it reflects. Please know that whatever you choose, you are already showing tremendous love for your child.

We are Giang and Damiem, a couple ready and excited to grow our family through adoption. We fell in love and got married about 6 years ago, and from the beginning?we knew adoption would be in our future. We both adore being Auntie & Uncle to all our friends' and family's kids, and we always reflect on how we'll be as parents.

We come?from different racial and cultural backgrounds, which has shaped us into open-minded, compassionate people who value diversity and connection. We believe these perspectives will help us raise a child who feels celebrated, understood, and embraced for exactly who they are.

As a couple, we are playful, curious, and deeply supportive of each other. We love cooking together, traveling, and discovering new cultures, but the heart of our joy comes from the simple, everyday moments: sharing meals, caring for our garden, or laughing together over little things. These moments reflect the kind of life we want to share with a child?"one filled with warmth, laughter, stability, and love.

When we imagine ourselves as parents, we see a home where a child feels safe to explore, ask questions, make mistakes, and grow into their truest self. We will be nurturing parents?"patient, encouraging, and gentle?"always providing guidance and reassurance. We will celebrate their passions, listen closely to their dreams, and support them through challenges with compassion and understanding. Most importantly, we will show them every single day that they are loved unconditionally.

We dream about family traditions we cannot wait to create?"bedtime stories with silly voices, baking cookies together on a rainy afternoon, singing songs in the car, family dinners where we talk about our days, and weekends spent exploring new places near and far. We picture traveling as a family, showing our child the beauty of the world and different cultures. At the same time, we look forward to simple joys at home?"playtime in the yard, helping with the garden, or cuddling up for movie nights. These dreams fill our hearts with excitement and hope for the future.

Our friends and family describe us as dependable, kind, and fun-loving, and they are just as excited as we are to welcome a child into our lives. We are blessed with an incredible support system that will surround this child with encouragement, joy, and belonging. From family gatherings full of laughter to quiet moments at home, this child will always know they are part of something bigger?"a family built on love and connection.

We also want you to know that if you choose us, we will honor you and your role in your child's life. We will be proactive in staying connected with you, sharing pictures and milestones via letters in the mail, and online. We'll arrange?visits with your child?on a regular basis that fits your needs.?We will speak of you with love and respect, and your child will always know that their life began with a mother who made an incredibly brave and selfless decision out of love.

Thank you again for considering us and for taking the time to read our words. We wish you peace, strength, and comfort as you move through this journey. No matter what, we hold you in our hearts with gratitude and respect.

With love,

Damiem & Giang
