Christopher & Victoria
Thank you for your strength and heart, considering us is an act of courage we'll never take for granted. No matter what path you choose, you are in our prayers. Our hearts and home are ready to welcome your child with love, respect, and lifelong commitment. Adoption is a profound gift, one we don't take lightly, and we would be honored to be part of this brave, beautiful story you're writing.
How Adoption has Affected Us

We have a deep respect for birth parents and truly understand the significance of this decision, especially because Victoria is an adoptee herself. In a remarkable act of courage and love, her mother made the difficult decision to allow her aunt and uncle to legally adopt Victoria and her two sisters, ensuring they could gain permanent residency in the United States.
At the time, her mother’s legal status was uncertain, and she chose to prioritize her daughters’ future and security. While her aunt and uncle became the legal guardians, Victoria remained with her mother, experiencing the beauty of a loving, supportive parenting team—her mother as the primary caregiver, and her aunt and uncle provided legal and structural support.
Adoption has also touched our extended family through our cousins being adopted by relatives, and we’ve walked alongside close friends who are adoptees and birth parents. These relationships and experiences have given us a unique and personal understanding of adoption’s complexity and its incredible capacity for love.We carry those lessons in our hearts as we prepare to welcome your child into our lives through adoption.
What Makes Us Unique

Chris served 21 years in the United States Marine Corps and is now a devoted third-grade teacher with a Special Education K–12 degree. Victoria proudly serves as an officer in the United States Space Force, with 22 years of combined service in both the Air and Space Force. Together, we've traveled the world and experienced both its beauty and the challenges it presents. Being far away from our family after spending a year in Iraq or six months in Afghanistan has opened our eyes to what matters most to us, family. These experiences, along with our upbringing in hardworking, blue-collar families, have shaped us into people with perseverance, grit, and a strong work ethic. You won’t find a family like ours anywhere on this planet, they are our greatest blessing. Whether it’s our annual Thanksgiving reunion, a holiday cookie swap, family camping trips, or filling a stadium for graduation, our family shows up, no matter what . We rally around one another through thick and thin, offering support in everything from changing tires to caring for loved ones. This unbreakable bond is what makes our family so special, and it’s this sense of unity we are eager to share with your child.
Our Lifestyle

We love staying active with weightlifting, hiking Colorado’s beautiful trails, running memorial races to honor fallen service members, and walking our two dogs around the neighborhood. We’re also die-hard Washington Commanders fans and rarely miss a game—we’ve been known to get a little rowdy cheering from the couch. And you’ll often find us catching a Diamondbacks baseball game under the stadium lights. Chris dabbles in various hobbies—whether it's Muay Thai, playing the drums, or practicing jiu-jitsu, he’s always exploring something new. Victoria, on the other hand, is a cleaning enthusiast, organizing and decorating are her form of therapy. We both love reading and trivia (especially history), trying new restaurants, and hosting competitive game nights full of laughter and energy. Gardening and planting are a shared passion—there’s something peaceful and meaningful about nurturing growth, one season at a time. On weekends, you can find us cheering on Chris’s students during their extracurricular activities. When we travel, we’re just as happy exploring a new city as we are sitting on a quiet beach doing absolutely nothing. Having seen some of the world’s hardest places through our service, we don’t take leisure time for granted.

Our Extended Families

We are a beautifully blended family. Chris became a father at a young age, and later in life when Victoria met him, she embraced the wonderful family he brought with him. Victoria has been a steady presence in Angelika and Isaac’s lives since they were young. Alongside their mom and stepdad, we’ve built a strong parenting team. Isaac, following in Chris’s footsteps, is proudly serving in Japan as a U.S. Marine, and Angelika is thriving as a nurse in Arizona. Though miles apart, we treasure our close-knit family in Texas and Arizona.

In Arizona, our family is vibrant, with Tias, Tios, and 4th-genertion cousins. Every year, we eagerly anticipate our Annual Thanksgiving reunion, a celebration with over 200 family members, delicious food, and friendly competition, as we compete in field games for the coveted family trophy. Victoria’s family immigrated from Mexico and made their home in Texas, where we usually spend the holidays. We cook traditional dishes like tamales, enjoy the local winter festival, and always make time for ice skating. Family and friends visit often, and our home comes alive with late-night games of Catan, plenty of laughter, and cheering on the Washington Commanders. We love these moments together around the table. When we shared our adoption plans with our family, the response was overwhelming love. Angelika and Isaac are jumping with excitement to welcome a new sibling—they’ve already started talking about the games they’ll play and the memories they’ll make together. Our whole family is ready to embrace your child with open arms.
Our House and Neighborhood

We own a spacious home in a family-friendly neighborhood, surrounded by mountain views and fresh alpine air. It sits on a corner lot with a big yard and a cozy porch, perfect for watching mountain sunsets. Every spring, we love planting new flowers in the front yard—a small tradition that brings us joy. Inside, we have four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and plenty of space to grow. It’s just the two of us (plus our dogs), and your child would have their own room and a dedicated play area. Our favorite space is the living room, where we relax and celebrate special moments. The kitchen opens into the dining and family area, making it the heart of our home.
Our neighborhood is filled with young families, and it’s common to see parents relaxing in lounge chairs while kids play outside, or neighbors closing off the cul-de-sac for evening games and gatherings. Just blocks away is a large park with a playground, ready for your child to run alongside our two dogs. We love Colorado’s active lifestyle and often hike nearby trails like Garden of the Gods and Cheyenne Mountain. In the summer, our community comes alive with outdoor concerts, farmers markets, and local events like the Balloon Festival. Winter brings snowmobiling, hot cocoa, and holiday parades. Our neighbors often gather around our backyard fire pit—sharing stories and s’mores. Our church down the road is a steady anchor, full of support and close friendships. We’re also surrounded by neighbors who feel like family—and we can’t wait to welcome your child into this loving community.
From Us to You

Before we ever knew your name, we were praying for you, asking God to give you strength, peace, and the comfort only He can provide.
We can only imagine the weight and courage it takes to consider adoption, and we want to begin by saying how deeply we admire your love for your child. No matter where your heart leads you, we’re grateful you’re taking the time to learn about us.
We’ve been together for 11 years and married for over 5. Chris had children early in life. Angelika is now nearly 28 and thriving as a nurse in Arizona, while Isaac is off exploring Japan as a proud, newly minted Marine. Though they aren’t Victoria’s biological children, she has spent more than a decade loving, guiding, and supporting them as a steady parent in their lives. Growing our family has long been a shared dream. Our military careers made that journey difficult at times, but since Chris’s retirement, that desire to open our hearts and home to a child together has only deepened.
We’ve walked through a lot of heartache in our journey to grow our family - years of infertility, prayers unanswered in the ways we hoped, and the quiet, aching grief of losing children we never got to hold. There were moments when the longing to be parents was so heavy, we begged God to take it away. But He didn’t. That desire -the hope to raise a child, to love them fully - never left. It only grew stronger.
Victoria has longed to be a mother for as long as she can remember. That dream didn’t fade with time or heartbreak - it became rooted in something deeper: faith, surrender, and the hope that love would find its way. That somehow, somewhere, God would bring a child into our lives not because we forced it, but because someone brave and full of love made a choice that would forever change all of us.
If you choose us, we promise your child will grow up surrounded by unshakable, joyful, faith-filled love. We will raise them in a home full of laughter, prayer, structure, and grace. We’ll celebrate their wins, nurture their passions, and walk beside them through life’s challenges. They’ll know bedtime stories, Saturday morning pancakes, road trips, and big family hugs.
We believe it’s essential your child knows where they came from and the immense love it took to bring them into this world. If chosen, we’ll speak openly about their adoption from the very beginning - with age-appropriate honesty, compassion, and celebration. Your role in their story will never be hidden or minimized. It will be honored.
If you desire contact - whether through letters, pictures, phone calls, or visits - we are open and hopeful for that, too. We believe openness can offer your child a fuller sense of identity and connection. We’re committed to working together to build something that respects your comfort and supports what’s best for your child.
We may not know your full story, but we are praying for you daily. Whatever you decide, please know you are already someone we deeply respect and carry in our hearts.
With all our love,
The Family Praying for You
