Paul & Johnson
Hello and welcome to our profile! We have been together for nine years now and always dreamed of starting a family. We recently moved to Virginia to be near family which is an amazing place for multiple reasons. Here, specifically in Arlington, we have the best school system, many parks, and its right next door to Washington, D.C.! Adoption would fill that missing puzzle piece in our hearts. Thank you for considering us.
Our Favorite Vacation Spot

We love vacationing, but who doesn't? We always have a vacation planned and funded at all times, so we have something to look forward to as to our next adventure. We recently came back from visiting Miami, Florida. There, we saw family, ate at our old favorite restaurants, and eventually took a trip down to Key West, Paul's favorite vacation spot.
Paul absolutely adores Key West. It's a vibrant community, has a lackadaisical vibe, and includes the best activity ever, snorkeling the reefs. We both have our own snorkeling gear that we tend to take with us everywhere just in case we discover a beach that requires exploring. Paul's favorite thing to do on vacation is snorkel. We have a Caribbean trip coming up with a cruise. While there, we have a snorkel adventure planned. But Key West is definitely the vibe. Despite the level of relaxation, everything is within walking distance, and the food is absolutely amazing. Johnson loves going to Disney World, specifically Epcot. When we lived in Florida, we always found ourselves at Disney at least two to three times a year. Johnson has to try all the foods from around the world in Epcot as well as all the sodas. When taking other vacations, Johnson always points out wilderness trails, hiking routes, and caves that we should explore.
Our Family Traditions

Traditions are what make us unique! Our traditions tend to circle around food. In Florida, we had our Friendsgiving, Pasta Sundays, Christmas Meals, New Years meals, and birthday celebrations. When moving to Virginia, we adapted to our family's traditions while introducing them to our own.
Pasta Sundays are likely our oldest tradition passed down by Paul's father. Each Sunday where everyone has off from work, we cook a freshly prepared (no jars allowed!) pasta sauce. Pasta has to be ready around 2:00pm for whatever football game is about to start. This tradition is one that our family in Virginia and us in Florida always honored.
We all know what Thanksgiving traditions are like. However, we make sure to fry up two turkeys, both with different flavors. We also name the turkeys with whatever is trending. This year, we named the turkeys Elphaba and Galinda. Last year, the turkeys were Taylor (Swift) and Travis (Kelcey).
For Christmas Eve, Paul's brother makes Cuban Sandwiches, not sure why... but we went with it. For Christmas, Paul's sister-in-law makes her famous lasagna.
On New Year's, we prepare a Honey Baked Ham meal. New Years Day has to be KFC or Popeyes.
Lastly, for our birthdays, Johnson needs his Cheesecake Factory. Paul does not have a preference towards a restaurant for his birthday but requires the biggest steak the restaurant has to offer, cooked at a medium rare with mashed potatoes.
Our Pets

We absolutely adore our fur babies! We have three dogs and four cats. When we started our relationship, Johnson had his cat, Toby, every since the little guy 10 weeks old. Toby kept Johnson company throughout college and postgraduate. When we moved in with each other, I found a cat, Katana, who was rescued from the streets. We took her in while she was likely between 10-13 weeks old. Later, Frodo came along. Frodo is a mix between a Maltese and Shi Tzu. We adopted him from a friend whose dog had puppies. Then, we found Jasper and Casper. These two twin cats were from a litter rescued from the streets. When we moved into a larger house, we decided it was time for a big dog! Here came Kaiden! A pure-bred German Shepard. Kaiden is a super sweet 70-pound ball of love. He has never shown any aggression towards people and simply loves to nap and receive head scratches. Lastly came Aerik. Aerik was my police K-9. When we moved from Florida to Virginia, I was able to retire Aerik who is now enjoying the retired life as a fat Malinois/Shepard mix. He is not aggressive towards people, but super energetic. Aerik loves playing tug-of-war, fetch, pretty anything that allows him to run around like a maniac.

Our Extended Families

We recently moved from Miami, Florida, to Arlington, Virginia, to be closer to family. Recently, we welcomed our newborn nephew into the world in October 2025. It has been amazing having immediate family nearby and watching our family grow. We also have another nephew in Canada.
We have our Sunday traditions, as a family, to have Pasta Sundays. Whenever everyone has Sunday off, we gather to cook fresh pasta sauce and watch a couple of football games.

We also have many more traditions we share with our family. Each holiday has a specific tradition. Whether its cooking two turkeys on Thanksgiving (each have their own name), to a freshly prepared Lasagna for Christmas, Honey Baked Ham for New Years, and homemade dessert to follow each time, we keep our traditions near and dear to our heart.
We have spoken with our family regarding adoption, and they absolutely love the idea. This child will be welcomed with love and open arms by their uncle, aunt, and newborn cousin. The grandparents will visit often from Miami to share their love.
Our House and Neighborhood

Welcome to Arlington, Virginia! Statistically one of the healthiest counties in the United States and one of the best school systems as well. There is an abundance of other children in the area, including our newborn nephew, to play with. Our nature trails are longer by mileage than the roads we have.

We currently reside in a 3/2 house with 3 dogs and 4 cats. We have a small deck that overlooks a patio. I cannot say whether we have a favorite room or not. However, it is likely the kitchen since it was recently remodeled. Our family room is decorated with authentic paintings purchased from our cruise adventure and seasonally decorated to always give a warm vibe that matches the weather. We live within walking distance to of one of our community centers that has pool tables, workout equipment, a children's playground, tennis courts, and basketball courts. A short drive down the road, there is an indoor pool facility with instructors to learn how to swim. Of course, this is not Arlington if we do not mention Washington, D.C., and how much they have to offer with museums, monuments, and other various adventures.
From Us to You

Dear Hero,
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to become the adoptive parents to your child. We understand this decision came with a heavy heart, but we hope you find serenity through this letter.
We find your compassion to seek adoption services for your child as an act of bravery and heroism. We cannot empathize enough with your decision and can only try our best to support you through your decision. Selecting the right adoptive parents is a huge undertaking to ensure your child grows up with all the resources they need, but mostly, with love and support. We can promise that this child grows up with a loving, growing, and thriving family. We have all the tools necessary to give a child a happy life; we have a support network of family, we have a strong financial backing, we have time and resources despite our busy careers to provide adventures and happiness to your child.
For some background about us though, we have been together since August of 2016. Both of us were starting our careers and excited about new beginnings. As our love grew, we knew the next thing to do was seal our love in marriage. We married in April of 2021. A few years later, we decided to move from Miami, Florida, to Arlington, Virginia. Here, we reunited with our family to carry on traditions and grow our families.
Recently, we welcomed our newborn nephew into the world in October 2025. We were already working with American Adoptions setting up our profiles and getting all the approvals done prior to his birth. But seeing, embracing, and loving our nephew only motivated us more to have a child of our own.
Selecting us as the adoptive parents to your child is not a goodbye. We can promise that we will coordinate and communicate as much as you prefer. We are open to as simple communication as texting pictures of the child or traditional letters, and of course the coordinated meetings for in person visits. During the child's early age, we are open to help fund travel costs to see the child in our amazing Arlington and Washington, D.C, area. This will allow the child to not to be stressed by travel arrangements and flying but also allow you to take a vacation in our beautiful area while seeing your child grow and be loved.
As the child becomes older, we can make travel arrangements to your area for convenience purposes. We love to travel to new places anyways, so that is always an option. Or, if you enjoyed coming here, we would continue to make arrangements for visits.
Even though we have a good life together, we are still missing that purpose in life to be a parent, and we so desperately want to give your child the life that every child deserves. Due to the nature of our relationship, we cannot have children on our own. But the desire to be a parent, to give it our all, our wishes, our dream, our hope to a child is still in us. We just want to share the joy and happiness of life with a child, and all we ask for in return is just a little bit of love. We may not deserve to be parents any more than anyone else on this earth, but we hope that you believe in us, and choose us to take care for your child.
